Whats your cars Top Gear Lap Time

DC5 has never been round the track but estimate from teg owners forum based on EP3 CTR is 1min31secs so was wondering how everyone elses car compares, theoretical or actual lap time from the show. No inflated figures, be honest please.

Ill Start

Honda Integra Type R DC5 = 1.31

How would you even begin to compare how fast it would be around the track?

joke thread surely?

May aswell estimate your BHP (adding 10bhp per sticker of course) and 0 - 60 time aswell Icon_rolleyes Icon_biggrin

The chances of anyone one here owning a car on the top gear list is minimal aswell.

Yep thats what DC5 time is based on of course, with LSD, Extra ponies and better handling taken into account.

Good call by G though on most of sites cars (Coff coff VW's) ever featuring on top gear track time list toungemsl:

See this is very hard to gauge...

The only equivilent in power and handling RWD to the 200SX is the RX8 and that ran 1.31.8.....

But thats the same time as an M3 ans a 350Z.

Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I have overtook a few of those cars on that board on the track, especially around cadwell Icon_biggrin ............

But i doubt the stig was driving any of them Icon_sad

Imagine how much they would make if they opened up the top gear track to the public Icon_biggrin

On another note here is my friends rallye doing a sub 10min lap of the ring:
