RE: warning thing?

thats about the size of it, staff can warn you same as always, but now.......

everyone can see if you're an arse or not.

so many warning, short ban; more warnings, longer ban; even more, permanent ban.

it's yet to be finalised. once it is, we'll post it up in here for you.

RE: warning thing?

Right

Forum Warning System.

Since day one, its only ever been ME thats been able to ban people..

And as much as i love doing it Icon_lol i cant police the forum all the time, so newth ste and ollie help with it, and now they have the power to apply warnings to you guys if you are dicking about..

Its not something that is gonna be abused, but if you break the RULES then you will be warned..

The Warning Stages

You start with zero, and once you reach 100%, you are banned.

Admin and mods can give MAX 25% warning at any one time, and the amount given will depend on the seriousness of the rule breaking..

The first time you reach 100% you are banned for THREE days...

After the 3 days, you are allowed back on, but have a warning level of 75% - so you'd need to tread carefully for a bit until it reverts back to 0%

If you are at 75% and break more rules and get banned again, that ban is for TWO WEEKS.

The the same again, after two weeks your unbanned and have a level of 75%.

If you then break more rules and go back up to 100% then you will be banned for SIX MONTHS.

So stick to the rules and you'll stay at 0% Icon_smile

I use this on my other forum and its a great success!

Thanks Icon_smile

RE: warning thing?

Why can we see the 'warn' button then, surely people might get a bit click happy, why not just let the mods see it ?

RE: warning thing?

Ok, fair enough, I don't have permission.

See I didn't want to try that before just in case.
