WARNING Really Anal Detailing inside

Don't say I didnt warn you Icon_rolleyes

Well seen as though I'm off all of this week I've set about doing a few jobs on the car Ive been meaning to do for a while but havent had the time or couldnt be arsed lol.

Todays task was to sort out the alloys, the rusty hubs and manky wheel nuts.

Heres how the wheel looked on the car, note the dirt in all the tight gaps, glue left behind from previous alloy wheel weights, and crap condition of the nuts.

The weapons of choice for this job are pictured, along with some Auto Glym Super Resin Polish & AG Intensive Tar Remover.

First job was to take the wheel off and give it a wash with some Turtle Wax Wash & Wax stuff I had lying about to get rid of any loose dirt & dust, as you can see this left me with a shitload of baked on tar and grime left on the wheel.

I used the wonder wheels to get rid of the baked on dirt and it got rid of some of the lighter tar marks but still left me with plenty to do.

So thats wear the Intesive Tar Remover came in and took me about half hour to get rid of the worst of the tar with a cloth no bigger than a 3" sqaure.

But bugger me check the wheel out once I'd finished

Next job was to sort the nuts and hubs out.

Once I'd sprayed them, black on the hubs, silver on the nuts I then put a layer o AG Super Resin Polish on the alloys whilst I waited for the paint to dry.

Around 15 mins later I was done, after buffing the polish off with a microfibre towel here is the end result.

Well chuffed with the result but the only negative is I've got another 3 to go Icon_sad

P.S: I wonder why I havent got a girlfriend toungemsl:
