I got owned by D all the time lol, got to Tibbzy's house just to realise he'd left his car at ED, so went down to fetch it, driving enthusiastically of course and suffered some brake fade coming up to the junction at Oasis, kinda shit it when the pedle just sunk to the floor.
Think Tibbzy's fingers thrash from where he was holding on for dear life all the way home
Rassssssssspppp

I was a bit disappointed to be honest.
Us driving all the way down there for a meet then everyone all buggering off to a car park. It's like is inviting everyone down to ED, then saying oh yeah, follow us to Junc 27 now.
We set off home at about 10 and played beat the tom tom estimated time of arrival, Nez shaved 17 minutes off the time! It was fun

it was still "us & them" with all three groups that attended.
couldn't see the benefit myself. All in all it was an expensive run to the pub.

wasnt a bad night, just a shame we travelled all that way just to do a pub meet sorta thing, not much different to our wednesday nights!!
and i do agree, it does seem to be "us and them" quite a lot. although daves attempt at interclub conversation went well!!!! lol

I will say, in their defence, a few more spoke at the car park down the road than at the pub.
I spoke to quite a few different people, awarded some bird a medal for revving her car for ages and I sold a couple of mags too (whilst Dave stood and hugged his pile of mags).

Maybe you would have thought more of it if you'd come with us into town instead of just staying in the pub. We interacted more when we went to the NCP carpark. They were lookin round our car, were looked round theirs. Was all quite civilised really.
Matty was desperate to give that girl in the Clio a medal but chickened out again as per usual.
Was alright really, we enjoyed the ride out to see some different people and cars anyway.

haha..
they kept me warm, although I did sell quite a few, I could not get away from talking to Kev, had a right good chin wag ..
also, I knew nobody , instead of waiting to be approached I introduced myself , (and stole chip cobs)
