Tires? Where is the best place to buy?

Getting close to new tyre time.

Thinking of going the Toyo route as Vredestin Sportrac 2's are coming to the end of there line.

Where do you get yours from?

Matty what do you recommend as your MrTyre to me Icon_smile

My size is 205/40/17

Thanks

RE: Tires? Where is the best place to buy?

Got my Toyo's from blackcircles.com with no trouble - and they were the cheapest at the time i was looking. Then just had a friend fit them all in exchange for beer!!
(Obviously this is only cheap if you know someone who has a machine and will do it on the side!!)

RE: Tires? Where is the best place to buy?

I've always found Yoko's to be fairly quick wearing for the money - the last 2 times the 2 has had new shoes i've gone for the Toyo T1-R's and find them to be really good for the price - it's always awkward for me price wise as the fronts and rears are different sizes to keep the stagger in the setup (ideal for all MR type cars). So I always end up paying more for the rears! (Front = R16 Rear = R17)

RE: Tires? Where is the best place to buy?

MYtyres.co.uk are good.

Also I rate Glens Low cost tyres, Used to be £50 a corner fitted for some japanesse sport tyre that looked identical to toyo F1's

They were amazing in the dry and pretty good in the wet....no point being a brand snob with car tyres in my opinion they all perform well so long as they look good and come with a good price.

For the record the theory test centre is now in the rosemary centre car park and not near micks tyres tounge
