The Rallye stripped look

The majority seem to be going for the stripped out track slag rally look this year but I havent seen anyone go the whole hog yet and remove the dash. Sureley removing the dash is gonna reduce the weight tremendously. Some dashboards weigh more than the the average seat and can take 2 people to lift out.

Whos gonna be the first to go the whole hog and strip it down to the bare esentials? heater matrix gone aircon gone and all Icon_smile

Ive finished most of the pubs n clubs ive been working on this year so ive got a few hours spare at nights now if anyone needs a hand.

RE: The Rallye stripped look

I dont see anyone using Helium in their tyres either I had a little play and you can fill a tyre to 28 PSI with a party pack of helium from asda using the same method for filling aircon systems at £20 Icon_smile

RE: The Rallye stripped look

Helium in tyres doesn't work....the molecules are too small to make it practical. All tyres are porous, which is why if you leave one long enough it'll go flat. Difference is when air is used in tyres it doesn't escape as easy due to it's structure (oxygen and nitrogen are both made from multiple particles). Helium however is only made up of single particles, and much smaller than the microscopic holes in rubber so will escape in no time. It's been done to death in motorsport and nobody has ever been able to make it work, it just can't be sustainably contained in a tyre for any length of time.
