Jammy b**tard, although something sounds fishy. And the real owner could take the car back at anytime as already mentioned in the thread, the registered keeper is not always the legal owner. The thing that sounds dodgy is that its been stood for around 3 years or more then all of a sudden after he gets his log book back from the DVLA it gets nicked? Something sounds odd there and I doubt it would fire up straight away without a bit of work, not something your average retarded joy rider could do.

Unbelievable luck! It's amazing how many folks are griping about it being "theft", if he went to the Police, the DVLA and the DVLA themselves tried to contact the previous owner with no joy then I can't see any wrong doing really...fair play to the jammy twat!!
