Today I began by removing the load cover and was instantly happier. The truck goes faster without it for sure - it was like a giant sail!
In its place I have fitted a roll bar with chequerplate cab protection - all stonechipped in black.

Considering doing it all in satin/matt black and grey for a stealth camo look to match the interior.

Had a play on Photoplop and tried to get a feel for how I hope the truck to look next season.

I'm thinking of using the Projektzwo grille, but ditching the inner spots.
Paint the whole thing in tones of black/grey/dark grey to match the interior (using proper military paint)
The NATO box is in the country in a fortnight, might have to fit as rack and radio aerials like the ones in the pic. Will be nice to chuck some jerry cans and stuff (shovel/axe) on top.
Going to swap the wheels for sure, mine are currently 15" and an upgrade to Mercedes ML 16" with some decent tyres is the way to go according to the Syncro experts.
I'll have to keep an eye out for the bullbar (or get one made) as they are as rare (expensive too) as you like. Going to build the winch into it.
I'll use the Tristar fibreglass front bumper and door pods I already have but fit bumper steps on the bullbar and rear bumper so you can climb on it.
The only other mods are the rock sliders and spare wheel mount. I have pictures of what I want so these too will have to be made.
Its a long, costly plan but I reckon by next year the truck is going to be kitted out for some serious fun (and then I will play with a trailer for it).
