I would have expected more power for the toys whats on it

seen before, to be fair was expecting lot more power and better times considering what has been done. seen imprezas with single turbo etc that have more power and torque and better times, but however engine bay does look awsome and credit goes to simply running 2 turbos and a charger lol

Any car thats been "tuned" will blow engines.

And before any clever shit says that there car hasn't blow up, K&N 57i and Peco BB4's don't count. lol

If an engine is built, tuned and maintained properly, then there's no reason it will blow up at all. Engines give up the ghost through either lack of maintenance, or abuse....and to me abuse includes not choosing the right components for the job. If this guy with the Scoob just whacked a couple of turbos and a blower onto a stock engine and cranked it up then yeah, she'll blow, and he deserves it! If everything has been checked out, built properly and based around the correct internals for the job, then there's no reason for it to give up the ghost.

We regurlarly churn 1600+bhp from our 50 year old design, twin-carbed, OHV, single-cam pushrod V8 without a hitch because we invested the time and money to make sure it was built properly with the right parts. It's cutting corners and asking for beyone the engines capabilities that cause tuned motors to fail.
