back in the day they used to be rapid, but as nemma says only when they are not broke...... old 1.3 engine tuned to 150 bhp + is not going to last long!!

Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

everyone speeds at some point... jeez i made it from mansfield to newquay in 4h10mins and thats a 310 mile journey
r5gtt as has been said before can be rapid but chances are you raced a poorly one
i beat a subaru... does that mean my focus is quicker than a scooby... me thinks not

They can be fast or they can be knackered and slow. Depends who the owner is and who built the engine. For a 1.4 they are very tunable, but alot of people just fit a bleed valve and then wonder why they blow up all the time. There not unrelaible there just like any engine, if its not set up properly your gonna have problems. As for the rest of the car there are some common faults, but youve got to remember there 15 years old and most have spent their life outside.

Dosn't matter what your in.. race on road is racing
as winno has told me in the past go up london in the tunnels see things going 180mph..
stop moaning at people ffs, it aint a rant forum,
no i aint got a lisence, been involved with 2 engine conversions and been asked to do a KLZE on a mx3.
