TBF I doubt many people on here would even see temps even the fluid Norris was using, but a good quality fluid would never go a miss in any vehicle.
I'll defintley be looking into the Motul I used after I fit the Wilwoods to mine for sure.
Rassssssssspppp

Simon Norris has very very bad luck
As for him paying for the damage. As he was in a proper MSA saloon car championship race he would have had full motorsport insurace

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I'm not so sure, I've had a quick scout through the threads on PistonHeads and the Lancer register and can't see a mention of insurance, just "sorry the other guy had his car written off".
All of our rounds are MSA governed too but we wouldn't get a penny if someone crossed lanes and side-swiped us.
If he in insured then I'd be interested to read about the in's n out's of it.

I'd be inclined to think that it's just a case of "sorry" mate!
