RE: Should i go Jap

Mike please re-write again in English.

I like CTR's and have got first hand experience of driving them, unlike a few in this thread. People say Vtec takes an age to kick in but every car has its power band, but if you can drive the car, you will extract the most from it. If its low down torque your after get a diesel, if you want something screaming its tits off at 8.5k rpm which still pulls then ge a CTR/ITR.

Only thing which worried me was the stopping capabilities of the car, but whether that was down to me just going to fast (which is highly likely), who knows, test drive one and make your decision.

RE: Should i go Jap

I've driven 2 and personally I don't like the 80's turbo lag effect, but as Matty says, the best thing to do is drive one for yourself and see.

RE: Should i go Jap

If I was you I would delete the whole of this thread and make your mind up..

Be different and dont follow suit cos someone tells you too..

If everyone turned around and said no on here then you wouldnt do it and thats not how it should be...

Test drive a few different cars and dont worry about what others think....

You are the one thats gotta drive it

RE: Should i go Jap

R26 is the one to go for apparently with the LSD, pricier than a Type R and will depreciate rapidly with it being a Renault.
