Hey,
does any1 no a good oil for a scooby.jst wondered if some suit better than others??

i'm using mobil 1S 10w40 but changing it at the weekend to motul v300 comp 15/50 i think as i want to use the car on track

Run mine on silkolene pro R 15w50 have done for about 3yr with no problems-can get it from roadrunner in notts but sure other ppl have it, about 44quid i think only other oil i`d try is motul 300v 15w50. its ok using thin oil in classics to gain a slight power advantage through less drag though at the expense of engine components ie crank/bearings ,yes the later scoobys are designed to run on thinner oil but personally would stick with one in a classic thats gonna give most protection at high temps.

I use Millers 15w60 fully synth, 32 quid from Rally Design for 5 ltrs.
