renault clio leaking roof 1997
hi, has any one here had/got a renult clio 1997ish which has a leaky roof n how to stop, i have used sealent but does not work any ideas as i has about a cup full of water drip on 2 me other night

Wheres it leaking from? Around the sunroof or the interior light?

my wifes clio does the same once in while around the interior light, don't know where its comin from though. (her's is a 2000 on a "w")

if it comes from the interior light or the interior light surround its usually means a water drain has been blocked up.
the best thing to do is take the sunroof out and clean all the drains out as i bet your sunroof looks like this

i have resealed inside and out and under the plastic around the sun roof. if that does not work i will check the water drains

One thing after another with my Clio.
After resealing the sun roof and the plastic around the sun roof it just gets worse more drips of water and loads when I turned the corner
Some one told me to check the water drains is this easy to do now i have resealed my sunroof down?

to save u the hassle of doing the drains which can b a nightmare call renault and get a new rubber(they may say that u will have to buy a whole sunroof kit) and try doing it that way.
then test it with by pouring water over your sunroof to see if that stops the leak.
if u struggle pm me and ill send u a blokes number who will sort it for u.
