Should be a doddle to be honest, as long as you can get to the back of your ignition barrel. We did it to a car over here recently, we just removed the starter wire from the back of the ignition barrel, and wired it to the button and added an independant earth. Job done; key in, ignition on, hit the button and up it starts. All your doing is swapping the function of triggering the starter solenoid from the last stage of the ignition barrel to a seperate switch.
It's a bit rough, but you could even cut the standard starter wiring harness away from the motor and wire the switch in independantly through it's own loom and relay.

Not sure about a 'site that'll have the info, but you could try and give it a good ol' Google.
The simplest way is the last option I described, I did this on my Mk1 Escort. Basically I removed the standard feed from the starter motor solenoid (that comes from the ignition barrel) and junked it. I then mounted a relay and connected my starter switch via a 30amp fuse (just in-case) and fed it from a permanent live (I ran a master kill switch so it wasn't much of an issue). The output of the relay went to the starter solenoid and "voila!". Stick the key in the ignition and turn to position 2, then hit the switch.
Have it wired this way proved quite useful too, as I could turn the engine over with the ignition off for adjusting the valve clearances, building oil pressure and clearing fuel from the cylinders after flooding etc. Granted, this was on a 30+ year old car, but the pricipals are the same.
The first way I described is to get a wiring diagram for your car and find out what colour wire controls the start function. Once you know it, simply snip it from the barrel and wire it to the switch, add a new earth and you're hot to trot. That way you keep the standard starter function (on a modern car it shouldn't work without the ignition on).

a lot of people simple wire the switch in parallel to the ignition barrel.
the 2 wires form the new push button get soldered directly on to the back of the ignition barrel.
one onto the 'always live' & the other onto the 'starter wire'
don't know if that's of help.
