RE: PTM Show Santa Pod 10-11th May
I have been, trying to find a straight road that I know is 1/4 mile as I hope Ollie can appreciate that this will be my first time on the strip and I am under a lot of pressure! If I lose i'll be having a very unappetising drink!
I've got a few plans for 2moro so if anyone's out alot of you will think i've "improved" my car however the changes are not permanted so don't think i'm finally "seeing the light" or anything lol
I will beat you Ollie get ya cup ready!
and the thing is i know of a place not far and very quiet as well but and let u all know where it is cos it will ruin my drift practice spot

BigCab© will be going down too on Saturday now. Its part of the Show and Go so need to get a time slip for it.
I AM swapping the front wheels though. It doesnt say anything about not doing that.
SO... Has anyone got 2 x 17"/18" Ford or Peugeot wheels that I can borrow for this weekend.
Its guna look stupid but it will produce a better time than last time I took it up on 20 inch wheels. I recon on some 17" wheels I'll be mid 16s ocs I did a 17.2 on 18s with a tired engine.

RE: PTM Show Santa Pod 10-11th May
They need to be 17" or above, but I have got some sorted now.
The cab is going to look fuckin stupid on small wheels. But ay, we need as many points off the strip Saturday to help with the show and shine on the Sunday.

I can't wait to be sat on the banking, in the sun with a cold beer in my hand, watching you all go up the strip.

Jess, if you lean forward into the stearing wheel it will make you look like your going ret fast. Gritting your teeth helps too.
Seriously, watch the light sequence for 10 minutes before you go on. See how others approach the line. The lights change very quick and you have no time to think about it. I always try to get to the line before the other guy. Gives you more time to get yourself ready. You will fluff it the first time but go back round and do it again until you beat the time or run out of petrol.
