talk me through it, i'm doing something dum.

just found the problem, there's a crappy 1/2meg limit on the size.

also, if you manage to find a photo small enough to attach, you then can't link that as maxxd doesn't allow 'hotlinking' either it seems.

incidentally, my sigs on photobucket, so how come that works?

theres a difference between attahing photos to the forum and linking from photobucket

linking isn't governed on size. As the forum isn't hosting the picture. Remember when using photobucket. to use the link that has [IMG] at the ends

uploading them into the forum as an attachment has an upper limit of 512k or summat daft like that

i'm sure the links are done correctly.

they're done in the same way as my sig picture, to the best of my knowledge, & that seems to work ok.
