RE: petrol/ diesel prices in mansfield

Choice of:
Esso Super Unleaded
Total Super Unleaded
Shell Optimax but closest one is Ollerton Roundabout
Sainsbury's

Total is meant to give you more miles to the tank with there's
Esso is meant to be cleaner
and optimax was developed by ferrari

That's my input

RE: petrol/ diesel prices in mansfield

Tesco's is regular unleaded with ethanol added to bump up the octane number, the engine cleaning agents and additives of the others are absent (hence why it's cheaper in comparison). BP, Total, Esso, V-Power etc are all exactly the same and all come from the same refinery; all they do is add their own additive packages prior to being dumped in the tankers.

That said, the Tesco stuff is a lot more resistant to detonation (probably die to the cooling effect of the alcohol).

i've heard a lot of bad things about tesco super. problem is, as always, who the fuck do you believe? Everyones got a mate that knows all about it & has insider info etc......

I normally use BP, Esso or Shell. Those 3 all seem to be fine. Only reason I've done that mind is because Castle Performance told me to "stay away from that cheap shit super, if you wanna keep it running rate". Ok I'll do that.
