what do people think then and any ideas on what to do to them for shows

my thought was to

remove roof rack
lower it
so deep dish style alloys
some nice leather interior

I think..

Swap the alloys for steelies.. leave the roof rack.. add a barrel held on with ratchet straps.

Get angle grinder out on the bonnet..

Lower it more than you've ever lowered before..

Dude.

If I was you I would go for something bigger than a 1.8, it wouldn't be able to pull the skin off a rice pudding.

I'd go for a 2.5, I would stay away from 2.8s as they have all sorts of problems (Nikasil for one!).

192hp in a BMW Estate, it couldn't get much better.

Assuming you could insure it etc.

you not find many m50 now with nikasil problems , get a 2.8 mate theres only 3 brake horse power in it but the torque is loads better and the 2.8's are so restricted it's unreal. german tax lawsIcon_smile

get a big bore throttle body a lad does them on exchange basis on e36coupe.com and davef at same place. and you looking over 200bhp easy just with them little mods.

god i miss my beemer Icon_sad

and dont listen to olstar he's weird and touches boys in wrong places so his opinion doesnt count lol
