well a little introduction of my self wont hurt im sure

my name is tom and im 17 and i own the best rover in the world in my opinion (not being big headed incase i come across like that i am)

my car was on the fusion stand at donnysouth blah blah blah

basically u either no me or you dont but hopefully get to know you all soon once i sorted my propblem out

problem: my car is sat on its ar5e and my wheels rub on the arches not just on the inside but on the outer arch it self when i get to 3/4 of a turn not even full lock!

at the moment i have standard springs buit there is that much weight in it its sank. and i need to jack it up how can i do this?

ive looked into airbags but they a lil expensive im running out of cash fast!

ive looked at some after market spings but these all lowere it! but i dont want to lower it i want to lift it up !


plz help i need asap because i cant drive it otherwise andive past my test a week and i cant drive my car and id love to come to the lsom cruise so help me

And i was pretty damn sure that it was on bags already!

Would fully adjustable coilovers be able to be wound above the standard ride height?

Or

Would you be able to swap the suspension from a higher car in the range i.e a Rover 45.

How did you get it to Donny south?

Will you be with fusion all of next year or would you be interested in joining maxxd at the shows?

If you read my Donny south Report in the events section it made it into the top 10 cars of the show for me

to tell you truth everyone thought it was on air bags

i dont no what im doing next year or for rest of this year not thought about it to tell you truth but i may be be going to hamsterdam with fusion if there still going or watever which should be fun

o by the way how much is it for a set of bags? ive been quoted 1500 quid

It is real nice PROBERBLY the best car that has come out of XXX IMO.

If you go to amsterdam, what show is it? would fusion mind if a few maxxd cars came along for the road trip?

Would be nice to speak to you and have a proper look round the car so make sure you get to LSOM when you can.

as for the bags, Speak to either Ol$tar or VWTom both have airbags on various VW and are much more clued up than me. Although

i have no idea what show it is dont even know if were going or anything yet

why do you want airbags fitting?

surely even a rover has one in the steering wheel and in the passenger side

and yea originally they have passenger and driverside airbags

know nothing about highing a car but your car look f**kin mint when i wasnt anywhere near done and now its f**ckin fantastic good on ya mate youve done well

You could get some spacer rings made to slip between the spring and platform. I've done this on 4x4's with no problems.

Nylon is the best material to use, lots of ppl use the bread chopping boards (cheap, and they come in various thicknesses!) and a jigsaw but it seems to do the trick.

We use Grayston Coil Spring Clamps on BigCab.

In my opinion they're more suitable than the rubber ones as you can adjust them to what ever height you want. Most motor factor shop sell them, we got our from Fit-A-Part in Mansfield.

lol fair do's thats your opinion. im happy to take critism because this is what can help me to improve my car. i knew the colour was going to be a gamble but i love it. and so do some others but others are not to keen on it. but what can i say?

but donny south wasnt very sunny and did not show the paint to its full potential its a complete difrent colour when the sun hits it


i dont want you to think im having a mardy or anything i just saying i dont want people top get the wrong idea aboit me
