You could get some spacer rings made to slip between the spring and platform. I've done this on 4x4's with no problems.
Nylon is the best material to use, lots of ppl use the bread chopping boards (cheap, and they come in various thicknesses!) and a jigsaw but it seems to do the trick.

We use Grayston Coil Spring Clamps on BigCab.
In my opinion they're more suitable than the rubber ones as you can adjust them to what ever height you want. Most motor factor shop sell them, we got our from Fit-A-Part in Mansfield. Best picture I could find ![]() They heigher the car and also harden the suspension. Alanman

Cant understand why sorting clearance on wheels/arches/inner wings wouldnt have been a priority before paint???? after the kit were fitted or whilst fitting it-unless ya bought the wheels after-which were a gamble in itself really.

we tried the wheels when the body kit was fitted and it was all fine but coming to the final build more weight was adeed and added if you get me
such as my bumper started of really light just mainly fiberglass but we went crazy and cut three bumpers up to create 1 so a lot of weight has gone into this area for instance if you get me |

You can use these clamps for standard springs okay. The shocks dont matter. All they do is disable a couple of the coils. They're designed for the caravaner I think primerily to help with the weight and to stop bounce when towing.
When you jack the car up (if you can lol) the coils open up. You then put these clamps in between two of the coils so when you lower the car back down, a couple of the coils dont close thus highering the car and by disabling a couple of the coils it also hardens the ride. They work perfect mate and they're adjustable so you can do it as little or as much as possible. It took some time to get the height right because they're a little fiddly. Obviously make sure left and right are at the same height and check clearence. The clamps are bulky so when you lower the car make sure they clear the inner wing etc. Alanman
