Egay.

According to the manual the of the two short rods must be 186mm between the centres of the ball joints

i have measured and adjusted. made them smaller and made them larger. no joy.

there must be something about the std links that make them different.

Tonights update :

sorted the gear linkage issue.

Big Big thanks to Alanman. a fresh pair of eyes totally helped to fix this problem. I am able to get all the gears now. Icon_biggrin Icon_biggrin Icon_biggrin

Group N linkages are now on, as well as the GE quickshift. All being well should be ready for spoox on friday!

I missed the fact that there was a stabiliser linkage that attached to a solid point on the gearbox.

So, both bottom linkages were attached to the gear selector when there should only have been one.

He was very giddy when he'd worked out what was wrong. Even Stace and Clare heard him from the house jumping about and screaming. lol.

I didnt do anything really, just wiggled ste's shaft a bit while he was under the car. lol.

I've spent the last 3 days under, on top and inside that car trying to figure it out.

the engine looks cool now with the grp n linkages in, gear changes feel firm.

lol @ me with that bumper last night, got finished at midnight!

the engine stand dropped onto the bumper. creating a large scrawk and cracked the bumper.
