it's the gearbox thats the hold up.

Everything else is in hand.

If the selction problems cannot be resolved tonight. Then it's doubtful it will make it as after tonight will determine if a replacement box is needed.

I have all the omex stuff at my house. ECU and fuel pressure reg are in the car.

Just the loom and TB's to fit.

But the problem I am having, that's jeopardising nationals is that I am having gear selection issues.

With the grp N linkages on the car, there is no side to side movement on the gear lever. i.e you cannot move the gearstick (when in neutral) to get to reverse or fifth. There is only forward and backwards. So I am going to the scrappy today hopefully to pick up some std linkages (mine were knackered and no longer fit)

I have no wiring on the engine at the minute.

the loom is out ready to be coupled up with the omex harness.

Icon_smile

I gotta smile otherwise i'd cry...

it will only move the gearstick forwards and backwards.

there is no lateral movement in the middle to get from 2 to 3rd or over to reverse.

Just been to the scrappy in my dinner hour and got some std linkages.

I really hope this solves my problem. otherwise i'm screwed.
