Easy all.
Right scrapped the Idea of the charger ETC to much hassle time, and no progress being made by the guy who was sorting it all so... onto another project.
As i said here: http://forums.maxxd.com/im-back-t-2280.html
Im going to be dropping a Z20LET into my Corsa with the following modifications:
VXR Turbo
VXR AFM
VXR Injectors
Pre-Cat removal
FMIC
200Cell Cat in Exhaust
+ Remap. Should see about 245/255bhp
Will also drop a Lightened flywheel in, and maybe LSD!
Breaks i shall be going for is Vectra-C 314mm (http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/produ...438&page=1) was going to get 4pots but no point really!
Here is a pic of the car at current!

Cosmetically will get car re-colour coded, aswell as maybe 16" SRi Alloys unsure atm!
Heh so thats the plan!
Cheers for looking

good luck with it, looks like a promising project that should have good outcomes! nice to see someone thinking outside the box rather than just bang a redtop in it!

Well after done roughly il be looking @ 220bhp thats without the revs lifted just a map on the the Engine Management, Standard ECU wont even be remapped. Thing is mate, bigger the radiator i get, more perfomance so...
Well mate, i will be able to kill a Corsa 1.8 SRi with a Turbo conversion, looking do hopefully do a few scoobies aswell.
Sure mate il go up strip with you for a laugh.
You going for a XE or LET?

good power then!
thinking 20XE, but there common as hell
LET, bit more on the expensive side, project is on a budget
16XE, good for 200bhp with TB'S, but again, money!
think i may go for a rebuilt 20xe, with ported and flowed coscast head, mild cams or LET cams if possible, lightened bottom end etc, around 160-170bhp with a remap.
so no, im not guna be playing with you up the pod!

c20xe's are good man and can be well done stealthly aswell, i used to have a c16xe in my first corsa but sold it as was a shit car to start with!
Im not changing cams or inlet manifold have no reason really, cams will take over at around 4,500rpm but if i just change gear charger will kick in so... have no reason really.
Man its not about the compotition @ pod really its the laugh of doing it and getting pissed all over

I will be running 2 ECU's with this aswell, the new one will run-inline with the cars orignial ECU but the newone will have all the cars enginemanagement system on it, that can be controlled by laptop etc...
You mean a piggy back ECU?
Oh, and get some pics of the engine bay up for a before and after type thingy.
