RE: *Member* D's renault clio hybrid THE QUEST FOR MORE POWER
there yamaha r1 carbs with 43mm chokes, the bike they came off has only done 3k.
yes emma ryan i gonna have a look for me then we both gonna go to spoox for a proper set up on both cars.
gains aint as much as itb's but u can still get gains of up to 20% on power and torque
You might have to wait some time now, as hes been told the hospital is going to re-break his hand tonight as its not healed right.

i spoke to darren who i think is one of the bosses there and he was top bloke, i had earlier spoke to prima racing(renault specialists pfft)and there supposide top mechanic said they would not give me much power as the chokes are to small but darren just said "what a cock" as loads of mi16 engined pugs run twin 40's or R1 carbs and they have great power gains, he even said he can easily prove it when i go down.

Like I've said already, Spoox know their shit. Take a look at their 309 - omg is the word that describes it.
I think your doing the right thing, they ain't the cheapest around but you get peice of mind knowing it's setup right.

Lol it should be fine within a few weeks. But knowing him D, he will still do it.
Hope everything goes well when you get the carbs and you both get the set ups.

RE: *Member* D's renault clio hybrid AND NOW IT WILL STOP BETTER
as my 4 pots are nearly ready i thought they wouldnt look right sitting on standards size disk so i needed some bigger disks, and hi spec who made my 4 pots quoted me silly money for the disks i ordered these instead
http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=201
so my brake set up will be as follows
hi spec billet4 4 pot calipers - nearly ready
KTR big brake front conversion - ordered
EBC green stuff pads - fitted
goodridge stainless steel braided brake pipes - fitted
AP racing racing brake fluid 5.1 - fitted
