so here is the new plan !


The car is going to dm motors in the next 2 weeks and the carb will be running properly. (he is waiting to get his gas analyzer back and then i can take it to him)

then when the carb is set up !

its time to fit all the new stuff ive got

clutch
clutch cable
radiator
track rod ends
track controll arms (with new ball joints)
discs & pads
new shoes
steering rack
uprated springs and dampers (60mm drop)
(spring and dampers need ordering)

then get my wheels back off aidan and pray the centres red

and then when funds allow
berg-cup arches


and by mod nationals 2009 !
it will be caged and resprayed !!

the release baering has worn so needs replacing !
the car doesnt even have a servo so i want new discs and pads
there is alot of free play in the steering and all joint look past it

so it all for peace of mind realy and once its done i know its going to be (touch wood) reliable as there wont be much else to go wrong

got about 2days solid work on it eh bud.

and iv gotta buy tyres cos you want your wheels back!

bit more than 2 days work !

started major work on it today

so started with

on axle stands where its going to live for a while !
wheels off
calipers off
discs&pads off
track control arms off
track rod ends disconnected from strut assembly
ant roll bar off
then removed drive shafts from hub and removed strut assembly !!

got to take steering rack out
gearbox off to do the clutch

then yea rebuild all with brand new parts
a few parts im not replacing like the antirollbar the actual track rods are all beind rubbed down and sprayed black again
then spraying calipers and carriers black just for protection !

looks like a load of work dude, if u need a hand jus ask mate and im sure peole will be willing to help and if i aint working or messing with my car ill help.

yea should be good only thing that could go wrong after ive replaced everything that i have got is the actual engine/body which if the engine did die it would get a gt engine in !

hope to order my arches around the end of the year ..

hooooooraaaay, tha mans finally got tha spanners out, the 400 odd quids worth of parts are finally gettin put on lol, cant wait to see this one take shape dude, keep it up
