The Blitz ecu is not mapable in the uk chap. The piggy back is good if your not going crazy. But to say that i'm install the trust ultimate (piggy) atm in my rev1 cos i hope it will work perfect (it has a laptop interface for monitoring and loads more stuff) I'm using it with 800cc injectors and a .5+ bore.

You have to watch out with standalone system if you have a rev 1 or 2 cos most need the flow sensor upgrading to the rev3

Plus i like pie Icon_biggrin

at my old work were applicable we used the AEM ecu from experience it was excellent and it caters for anti-lag, water injection, nitrous etc its about a grand for the ecu + fitting + setting up etc its pricey yes but its capable of any thing

I'd never touch a piggyback ecu to fair, but that's just my opinion. The way that they work still relies too heavily on the standard hardware. My money would go on the AEM like Nez suggests, or try and find an Apex'i Power FC. The eManage ultimate looks good, but there are very few tuners in this country who have experimented with it.

The HKS unit you have is a good one, just not my first choice. Icon_smile

ive never fitted the power fc but from what ive seen they seem to be pretty good, suppose its all down to how fussy you are at setting up

The good thing about the Power FC is that most tuners are very familiar with it, and will often fit it for not a lot of cash.

problem with the power fc is that you need to upgrade the wiring loom to use the rev 3 sensor. (was told this by imoc)

Plus the people on imoc said lots of things about the rev 1 & 2 flow sensor so i'm just experimenting Icon_biggrin

ive not have loads to do with mr2 turbos but i know when running larger turbos and big boost pressure they inparticular than other vehicle have problems with the air flow meter, i was reading summat the other day and found found somewere that make air flow meters for any vehicle that can cope with a lot more flow but i cant remember for the life of me who does them.
+ with ecu`s such as the AEM one you can run a air flowless system if you choose

AFM's are one of the most problematic areas with any modded car. To be honest, any decent increase in power and you should always swap to a MAP sensor...they're so much less tempremental.
