Looking back......

After my recent fun with the DVLA/Jetta thing I take consolation in thinking about what I am going to do with the Golf (when this bloody weather allows)

The other day the missus is going through a load of old photos and pulls out one of a Golf I owned 4 years ago - odd thing is I barely remember it but looking at the photo now it was a bloody minter.

It was an Atlas Grey 3dr 1990 1.8 Driver.

Mods were:

Crystal headlights
Debadged 5 bar grille (single light)
Eyebrow spoiler
90 spec front bumper
Smoked indicators
Smoked side repeaters
GTi kit and boot spoiler
Porsche door handles
Cup door mirrors
Storm single wiper
Smoothed/Debadged/Dewipered tailgate
Genuine Treser smoked rear lights
90 spec rear bumper with number plate recessed-80mm suspension drop
15" split rim Enkei alloys with stretched 45 series tyres
GTi cam
3" bigbore zorst with DTM tailpipe
Weber 32/34DMTL carb upgrade
Big valve head

If anyone has a scanner I can post a pic up but I wonder now why the hell i sold it.

mate i oftensit and look at pics of my old cars and think why the fuck did i sell that??


a 1275gt mini with loads of engine work and wide archs with 40's was a animal no joke


i misss my mk1 golf like you wouldnt belive aswel as the black "slag" 306 and my landrovers infact i misss 90% of the cars i sold

i miss my caddy and i still own that!

i do miss my mk3 golf as well but id of changed that so much now if i still had it!

i dont really miss any of my other cars TBH.. cept maybe the MK2 polo saloon.. that was a beast
