Bruton Wrote:DVI-9990 - £1,171. Dude, there's no way that unit does the same job as the Alpine F#1 status you're comparing it to there. It does look an amazing piece of kit though! ![]() Project Car Progress Bar [llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll] |

RE: Latest carputer info
most of the pcb is in jell coat aswell so where people that have been using micro atx boards and getting dry joints this wil stop all that

RE: Latest carputer info
lol, i refer you to your photo further up this thread where things start to get messy when plugging things in!
potting pcbs is always a good idea in rough enviroments. good thinking that. (does of course mean though that once it's failed, it's only good for a door stop.) it does look a good unit. lets hope the price fall asap. i'd love one in my everyday car.! ![]() Project Car Progress Bar [llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll] |

RE: Latest carputer info
that price is for the top of the range model. The base model seems to be atracting attention at £700.
Taxi companies are now coming on board aswell for booking management and our covert vehicles are wanting the system installed as it is very easy to record from video input rather than having video recording equipment etc
