RE: just advice really :) help
people do do it mate there esentially is no difference between a house TV and a car specific one bar the power rating and supply
Obv uoit gonna need a transformer to run the household socket off a 12v supply - plus bear in mind if its on all day your battery is gonna take some hammer
And i suppose you need to decide if it is just a tempory thing or weather its gonna stay like it?
Thats how id see it prob not much technical help but if you wait for Newth or Bruton or Scott to come on line im sure they will know more
1. Top 100 Show Car 2. 13 sec 250+bhp RWD monster 3. Daily runabout well detailed - but i know fuck all about this scene........
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I had house TV in the back of the Chevy Astro running off converter with no problems (until it got nicked).
If the TV has Audio outputs you'll be able to run the sound through the car stereo too. If not or it too spegety junction for ya, you could always run the audio output off the PS3 straight to the car stereo and miss the TV out. TV speaker arnt worth a wank anyway....usually.

RE: just advice really :) help
you could always build a second battery into the install with split charging then it will just charge up the second battery as you drive with no affect to your main battery

Fibreglass isnt that hard really - just time, effort and patience. EDIT: Just reread your post and you wanting to do curves - now that IS a lot harder to get them looking good!! Again not soo much with practice but for you first I would suggest angles would be better than curves.
But if this is going to be your first attempt I would find something to practice on first as you will make a few mistakes!!!!
My dad has a regular household monitor in his van, converters are easy to get hold of and not too expensive..iirc he got his from Friths and it runs fine.
