it does stand out to most other 106's, but i am biased and would say buy japanese!. As said earlier in the post, yes any car break, but being fair, japanese cars never normally do! the 106 will look cool when done though if you get it. good luck!

i agree with gettin a jap car. my starlet never broke down. but it costs shit loads to maintain/ upgrade parts.

i was actually going to say get an s13 and yeah parts are more expensive to upgrade but saying that, on something like an s13 i dont think parts are that highly priced to be fair.
plus its turbo, and RWD, life doesnt get any better

Exactly, with an S13 you only need to spend around £500 on decent quality parts and it will spit out 240bhp all day long.
Plus "rear-wheel-drive or no-wheel-drive"

you find a 1.6 16v that beats a 106 gti or saxo vts ! theres nothing and 106 gti's are fair on insurance! ........ i aint saying because i have one .... there's nothing for your money what will make u smile like a 106 gti!
