It will have gone up cos you passed your test. That's making a big dofference to quotes at the minute.

Are you doing the Pass Plus, that could make a difference. Get quotes before you do it though cos it'd be a waste of money and time if it doesn't save you anything.

try http://www.ecarinsurance.co.uk i think there the cheapest i ever found and they do a years insurance or they do a pay as you go thing where you can set the insurance up and if you dont want it after the first month then you cancell 7 days before its going to go out again and they dont charge you anything at all like most insurance companies do and aslo with the pay as you go one if you dont have a accident or change car or add driver on that one after 8 month you get a years no claims and they ment to be the only one who do that just thought id let you know so anyway

dude ive had the exact same problem with all my cars after 2 years and 5 months worth of driving my insurance is still 1293 on the 306

it reallly fucks me off when i know people my age have better cars than me and pay alot less, i reallly dont get how these companys work if im honest

I can't imagine putting "friends" on the policy would make any difference, parents or spouses (incl C/Law) can sometime make a difference, but not just friends.

If you do find a company that does, I'm ret old and I'll only charge you £10 to be your friend(s)

you can only add so many to insurance till it actualy starts going up, if i have kell and my mum works out more expensive but if i have kell makes no difference but if on my own its cheaper then having anyone on ,
