Yeah, the Apex'i is genrally ackowledged as the best all round compromise of filtration and performance. There are more free flowing brands available, but they're also pretty good at letting shit inside your motor!
The Blitz Sonic Power is a really good one too, as it uses a metal gauze instead of the other Blitz ones which are cack. The only problem with the Sonic Power compared to the Apex'i is the horrendous cost. Which I discovered to my peril "yeah I'll take one of them!"

My Blitz SUS is metal, but I am considering swapping for the A'pexi as I've seen this review before and heard other good things about them.

Where did you get yours Gaz? is it just the filter or have you had the fitting kit?
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
