RE: Ibiza decisions - A brain fart
I said I don't think that ALONE is worth opening the car up for. I need new subs and speakers etc.

Also the fact that i'd be trampling mud in and out of it all Friday so she needed a damn good hoover. Something i'm going to work on for next show, i.e put the old mats in and hoover the current ones and leave them in the boot until the stand.

I wasn't hiding it, my car has windows.

RE: Ibiza decisions - A brain fart
I'd say do half and half...if your 2-3 years away from the lovely thing that is a mortgage (chain around your neck!) then spend around half or so on the car and put the rest away!

That way you get something you want now but make it a little easier for yourself in the future!! Like others have mentioned..you can still run a nice car and afford to spend money on it - it just requires budgeting. This will be good practice!! lol

I've just had to make the choice between spending money on the house or money on the car and sadly the house won (altjough in the long run it will actually probably make me money!) - shame though as could have had a methanol injected supercharged beast sat on the driveway now!!!
Am sure someone on here can help you get the bodywork done a little cheaper?!

forget a power boost valve mate unless your running a turbo lump that needs higher fuel flow to get to the cylinders.

RE: Ibiza decisions - A brain fart
Have to agree on the boost valve idea....they're just rising rate fuel pressure regulators that cost you a load more money in fuel for minimal power increase.

Nez has got the right idea Icon_lol
