They declared it manufactured in 2001

Never seen it like that on a log before.

It might have been that the car had been sat in a large stock pile at the factory for a while. So whilst it was made in 2001 it wasn't registered to use on the uk roads until 2004

Em is anything different with your trim to another 51plate car or didnt ya look at any others,can remember looking at cars in car supermarkets when i were lookin for me 106gti half leather were a must, in 1999 were on the uk`s the imports at car supermarkets still had cloth seats "think" they were maltese imports.

No there all the same. And same as my red one. Unless if its Panther Puma, which has the leather seats, and the yellows ones have leather seats.

The only thing with that theory, I would have expected it to be an 04 plate.

i dont think the puma was a very good seller for ford, was it?

so maybe they jsut made loads, couldnt sell them, so held back before letting any more out on the road?

The Puma was one of the well sold cars, they stopped production in 2002.

O well its just strange, I only really noticed it when I was filling on my Log book to change the address.

It it sold well then why dont you see many - and why did they stop making it?

I consider the fiesta to be a well sold car, as they have made it forever and show no sign of stopping!

But anyway - what a wierd situation!

only if it were imported from new mate,if it`d spent 3yrs in another country before bein imported-may be a different tale-Em when have you got service history from if any.
