How long should I wait for my wheels to arrive? :(
Ok some of you might know that I have ordered some 17" ACE 198's.

I ordered these on the 24th May and Paid for them. It is now the 2nd August and there is none in stock and I have been told again it could be another two weeks till there here. I was originally told two weeks after buying them that they would be here.

By my calculations its 10 weeks since I paid out.

So do I cancel my order and spend the money on something else or just wait for them to arrive?

What would you do?

you've waited ten weeks already so if they say its going to be another two weeks then wait. if they still dont turn up after two weeks, cancel it!

Karl had this problem, In the end he just cancelled.
If they're having problems then who's to say how long its taking to be resolved? Also, while the moneys in thier account its earning interest for them, why not ask for a refund, look around but ask them to contact you when they actually have them in thier grubby little mits.

Think I am going to give them the two week grace. Then if by 17th of August there not in stock or being delivered the next day I will have my refund.

Then I will use the pennies to buy a JL Amp and get the rear interior of my car finished with the money spent on the wheels and tyres.

I would ring them up and explain that you were initially told 2 weeks, 10 weeks later no wheels. I would be a complete arse with them and say that you needed them for a photoshoot, which you have now missed out on due to the lack of wheels, and you want a discount on what you have paid as a goodwill gesture or you will take your business elsewhere and tell all your friends what appalling service you've received.

If your an arse with them, generally they will try to sort you out, as they wont want to lose your business, and know that a lot goes on word of mouth.

Obtaining wheels through suppliers often the manufacturers can be a nightmare they often have back logs and long waits to get ahold of wheels!

So much that we not advise customers on the wheels we can supply for their car instantly.. and if they do require a wheel that is out of stock we dont advise a delivery date as often it can be 4 or 5 times longer than suppliers sugest.
