Ahh, I see said the blind man....you mean the shift pods!!? They're the black erm pod-like things protruding from the transmission tunnel with the air feeds going in to the top of them.

are 2 not visable? But you can see red pipes coming out?

Quite interesting really because I did used to wonder (I really did), about changing gears in Drag cars etc.

If you look at the top pic you can see them all. It's quite complicated but because it's a 4 speed there are 3 pods. Each one of those black pods sits on top of a seperate ratio in the gearbox. You pull the lever back to engage first gear, and then press the buttons to engage 2nd, 3rd and 4th. If you trace the red pipes you can see the top button is second and the red pipe goes to the first pod etc.

The clutch just bolts to the front.

I see! Well sort of, I don't get the technical stuff, lol!
