The 6R4 was a Group B rally car. Designed to take on the Audi Quattro, Ford RS200, Lancia Delta S4, Peugeot 205 T16 etc. Here's one for you random fact fans!.....The 6R4's normally aspirated V6 engine was basically a Rover V8 with the end 2 cylinders lopped off. With Jaguar having access to the equipment and tooling for the engine thanks to their British Leyland days, the 6R4 engine appeared with twin turbochargers in the back of the Jag XJ220.

Pfft....please! Icon_biggrin

Does look a bit of a weapon, I'd rather have the 550bhp Morris Minor though, I bet that's a right laugh!
