I'm new to this forum (and any other forum to be precise lol)

I understand that you all have the same interest in cars as i do lol so joining this site will hopefully fulfill my needs!
I own a Mitsubishi FTO GPX Mivec V6 with currently 210bhp. Its black and i am currently in the process of modifying it , nothing too over the top but something that makes the car look more desirable than it already is!
I have plans for the car already which consist of giving the interior a full leather job, a bodykit of course lol and many others.. at the moment it is stock...Before i do any of this work though i have a few problems with it at the moment which includes the exhaust, fanbelt as its screeching :neutral:
but other than that the car runs sweet and is as fast as fcuk lol.

I'd love to go to the shows as ive never even been to any sort of car show whatsoever and i keep tellin my mate that one day we will go to a show so u may see me in the near future!

Also about registering as a member i thought i was already a member? Do i have to pay membership? Please advise.

no mate you dont have to pay at all, what we have done is intorduced a small membership scheme to help us make our stands look awesome at the shows in 2008 and costs as little as £20 for the whole year!

You get discounts and free stuff and obviously the other half of the forums!

would be great too see you at shows next year they are awesome fun and a smart looking FTO will look bang on on the stands!

If your local to mansfield were out every wednesday and hold a Last sunday of the month event although that is on hold atm

you are a member on here mate, take your time get posting have a look round and if you feel you fancy becoming more involved them pm me i can sort you a free trial out!

Hi Ollie, Thanks for the advice.
Well im a bit far from Mansfield to be honest as i live in Birmingham! Might have to book it for a holiday lol.
To be perfectly honest my FTO wouldnt look good on the stand for the show at the moment as i mentioned it is stock inc the wheels! and the wheels have been kirbed and corroded by the previous jap owner!
I am looking to getting some black and chrome deepdish alloys 5 spoke with those rivets around the edge in either 17's or 18's not sure though yet. The interior is getting a refurbishment and much needed update!! Maybe something to think about in a year maybe when it will be finished

I will send the pics to your email addy as soon as i get them from my other PC but im not sure whether they will be on there and as its raining outside i wont be taking any today (needs a wash too lol) but ill send you them asap matey!

Oh and do you guys come to Birmingham for any shows or owt? (my northern accent showin there lol) :op

We used to go to wheels raceway a lot for cruises, there arnt any shows birmingham way at the moment but if any cruises come up the nwe would go!

every car can look good on a stand mate, a FTO is an interesting car and with it all polished up and a fresh set of rims it wouldnt look out of place at all!

Its took a bit of time to get back on things, crap weather, changes in the scene, disagreements
