Your whole new car judgement is based on the fastest?
There is not a great deal of difference between any of them, and in the grand scheme of things they are all slow!
Remember a. you spend most of your time doing 30, b. sat in traffic and c 70 is the max!
Reliablility...you wanna look for a civic..out that lot id say the corsa is prob the best.
Personally id have the Rallye, but then again the VTR is a good luke warm hatch
Chose the car you LIKE, remember you spend time in it, is it comfortable?, has it got the features you need? are they a good price? are some low mileage? whats the parts costs?
Speed should be the least of your worries if all you can insure is a group 7 VTR!
1. Top 100 Show Car 2. 13 sec 250+bhp RWD monster 3. Daily runabout well detailed - but i know fuck all about this scene........
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I understand ya mate and yeah thats all i can insure because i had my license revoked and im only just 18 so that puts it in perspective i was just after the general overview of the best out of them lot as I thought a lot of people may have owned or knew someone who owned one.
Cheers though mate

No problem!
Just hang fire for the faster cars and when your your age you wanna be looking at costs and reliablility (Which you have asked) then build up that experiance, build up them no claims then find something that is fast.
Any that you put are good choices but take a peek at the Civics

firstly, the 106 rallaye is a lot different to drive than the other two, as the have no power sterring and are stripped down to make them lighter.
i would go for the 106, there quite rare to get a decent one though and cost more. but im sure they are loads more fun to drive.
just to let u know, it was only £125 more for me to insure a stalet turbo than it was a saxo vtr.

there is a lot of insurance difference with the vtr and vts, likewise with the 106 quiksilver and gti. btw a 106 quiksiler is a hell of a lot cheaper to insure than a vtr, if u strip out the rear seats of a quiksilver, it keeps up with a vtr too. and they are mint to drive once lowered.

good advice cheers mate what model is the turbo starlet ?
is it gls as none of the options show a turbo version?
if its the 1300 gls which i dnt think it is then its 1300 quid so cheaper than the others ..

Mate the Turbo is an IMPORT ony so most wont show it
The 1.3 GLS is a uk model and is slow!
Avoid turbos and imports!

no not the gls, its toyota starlet GT Import. who are you insuring with?
im with admiral, at the time i was 19 with 0ncb and 3 points, i paid £1457 fully comp on my starlet.
id really consider a 106 quiksilver though, insurance shud deffo be cheaper.
