Help me out?

As my other thread says in the "houses of portland" i need some ideas of how get air to my radiator/engine but still keeping the front end as smooth as a babies bottom.

Can someone photoshop my front end with air intake in different places, i.e fog lights, grills, bonnet cut out and other wild ways you can think of, even better infact if its something unique.

http://www.maxxd.com/v/official-maxxd-me...9.jpg.html

Not a great pic but the only one i've got of the front end.

Much appreciated!!

If you can think of something totally differnet that no one as done before then thats even better but i want quite a few if possible so i can compare them.

Also just to be a total pain in the arse in need it doing asap becuase its going in the bodyshop in roughly 5 weeks woohoo!!!!!

Have the jets in the engine bay, and a switch in the car to "purge" them.

But ideally I'd just leave your grille there, would save you a few quid in the long run, instead or repairing an engine because it overheats everytime the car is driven anywhere. What you have to remember is alot of show cars that you see now are all trailer queens and do not need to be functional for the road, so they aren't too fussed about smoothing grilles, rear lights etc.

i will say one thing about air intgakes that are low down - i.e in the bumper where the fog's go or below..

Go thru a puddle of water, water rushes up and your engine WILL be fucked..

can you get morette headlight conversions??

If so, why not about the inner light in a set of them?

if ya get me?

see the lights? anyone know the order of the lights? i.e. which is main beam, which is normal beam? fogs?

the corsa uses 2 seperate bulbs for full beam and dipped beam, if you remove the inner lights you will lose main beam......

one thing i have seen is a rad fan fitted to the underside of the block between the sump and the subframe..... that draws cold air travelling under the car....

are you smoothing all the grilles off??? cos if you are the middle ones the main rad feed so your gonna end up overheating everytime you use the car....

why not have raised rear bonnet??? or vw transforter vents louvered into the wings behind the headlights?

Yeah that'd work.. I like the transporter vent idea Icon_smile

or you could do with what newth has on his morettes..

he added an air intake to the side of it, and from what he said it works well!

How about honouring a bit of Vauxhall/Opel/Irmscher retro style?

Ditch the fog/spots, fit Irmscher grilles and vent the bonnet with the Irmscher triangles.

Or go with the modern Irmscher look and check out the Corsa C Super 1600 Rally car
