Jess I would say just keep saving up for your car, either try get the turbo back or another engine. Puma? Fiesta? Focus?

I will let you know if my Dad or Uncle finds any good Puma engines for sale,we have one but thats to one side at the min.

and thanks for everyones support, i am planning on tuning her up now so i spose if i run her with a standard engine n then each time when i go down when she's got something new under bonnet it'll show the improvement. I am definately looking at doing something after June though i just don't know what!! I'm not mainly concentrating on the 1/4 mile times but that along with rolling road days will help me see how much she's progressing.

So i don't just want an improvement on pod days, i want one permanently.

Sounds like finding a new tubby's the way forward then...although around £500 would get a 2.0 Zetec out of a Mondeo, I'm sure it'd squeeze under there somehow.
