HELP! hilux surf electric rear window not working,

the rear window on me hilux will not go up or down on the switch or the rear key!:angry:
so i can still use the boot ive run two wires from the window motor,a live and earth from the front of the truck so when i connect the live to one wire from the motor and the earth to the other wire from the motor the rear window will go up or down depending on the way round i put the wires,
now all i need to do is put in a switch that will put the window down when pushed one way and up when pressed the other:confused:,
for those of you who dont know!the rear window has to be down on a hilux surf before you can get in the boot!PLEASE HELP!

have you checked all the relays that are for the rear window motor.

It seems the motor is ok by you connecting wires to the battery and it working.

You need to work your way backwards to the regular switch.

I bet its the regulator thats bollocksed, quite a common problem on Surfs.

the main brain for the back window as melted,so its now been took out so not to do any damage!
so same as i say ive run a live and earth and the two wires from the motor up to the front of the truck,so all the wiring is there just need to know what switch to put there and were the wires go to make it go up and down on the switch? and its advertised this week for sale so i need to get it fixed !
