heater matrix
can anyone tell me if the heater matrix goes on your car then can it make the car over heat at all or does this mean i have a big problem more than just the heater matrix??

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

the heater matrix is only for the heater system dude.

normaly over heating would be caused by loss of water, thermostat not working correctly.

thus in turn loss of water and not cooling propperly will fry the head gasket.

get it checked out before it happens

well its deffo the heater matrix as the passenger side floor is wet through and the heaters smell like s**t not literally but they got a wierd smell to them

If you've lost all the water through the heater matrix then yes indirectly it will overheat the car, as its got less water and not under pressure.

You need to sort it out before you knacker you headgasket or worse.

to add to alanman you would notice water loss from matrix as you would have a smell inside the car and wet carpits :cyclops:

The smells antifreeze/coolant,matrix is quite easy to replace on escorts though to be fair,an theyre about or were 30 quid though its a while since i bought one to be fairIcon_biggrin

well first of all lol its gone in my pug 306 and it looks like a c**t to do and you will all probably say ya stupid and this and that but i put rad weld in the radiator and it has actually done the poblem as i have not yet lost any water after 3 days but i dont use the heating as it may go at any time
