forums and where they are

After looking at forums dont you think it needs switching abit...

Like the for sale section... wouldnt that be better in the free section as people want everyone to see their advert and then other forums like care care going in stage 2 so detailed questions can be asked and included engine forum or something... just think the general stuff should go to the free bit and then more detailed stuff in the stage 2??

Just and idea...

RE: forums and where they are

Sometime, if the seller is a little vague with the description, a quick relevent question may need to be asked.

I agree only member should be able to "sell" but it might help the sale if potential buyers (members or not) have the oppotunity to ask questions.

Suppose there is PM's though.

RE: forums and where they are

Everyone should be able to see for sale

People who have paid can sell

And Yea PM is the best bet with questions

sorry, missed this bit.

the idea was to have car related stuff such as the 'detailing' forum open to everyone. that way the whole club can gain from anyones advice, rather than just the stage 2, or above, members.

if someone asks about a specific car issue in stage 2, it gets a limited response, hence all car related stuff was put into stage 1.
i think. lol.

we do want commets though. at the end of the day, the forums are a tool for the club (in my eyes) so we should try to get them right for the members.

RE: forums and where they are

i just think that i paid £20 for an orange sticker... like i think it should be more specialist in the stage 2 bit so that i can get really informative information from it.

I just think why have the forum split up when the sections we all use are in the general bit not for "members".

RE: forums and where they are

you actually have a good point.
i think the idea of the trader forum is to fill the gap your talking about.
whether it'll ever happen mind........

although i think it's harsh to say you've paid 20 quid for a sticker, there's more to it than that, but lets leave that for another day.
