RE: exhaust advise?????

on a truck of some sort, yes.
on a car, only for a valid reason, styling not being one of them.

RE: exhaust advise?????

If Clio exhausts are anything like 5 ones, then the side exit will have one less 90 degree bend in it so gasses should hopefully escape faster. Although with it being an NA exhaust tuning is a lot different I think as length is quite important.

RE: exhaust advise?????

You can borrow it to try if you want? 2.5" straight through with a very small silencer. They make around 107dB on a 5 so are pretty loud and are not usable on track days etc because of the 105dB limit, so people stick wire wool in them during measuring.

RE: exhaust advise?????

Any car with room for a side exits too high in the first place Icon_rolleyesIcon_cheesygrin Too impractical an dont look great anyway.

A mates got twin side exits on his v8 samba but they were designed to come out through the bottom of the front wings each side of the car just behind wheelarch, basically ya can just see the rolled tailpipe end through the wing-looks neat as fuck.

just depends-wouldnt mind if it were built into or came out of bottom of rear quarter somewhere but when they just come out under the car hate em.(unless its a retro yank motor or summat with side pipes)

Can see ya car we these on chap do it lol Icon_cheesygrin Icon_cheesygrin

Do it D. Like Dave says though, through the rear quarter. Icon_biggrin

You get to see you're own flames (and smoke) if it comes out the side. lol.. \/

RE: exhaust advise?????

they do actually help a car perform better as the exhaust gases are realsed quicker ezpecially with the correct bore and i do miss the sound of a really loud exhaust lol.
