E30 Analised cleaning...

Was going to a BMW car show and entering the show and shine, so thought i'd make the effort with the car, with me working during the week and not getting home till 7ish, i had roughly 5 evenings and 1 day to work on the car, so the work began...

Cleaned all the mould out the inside, took me about 45 mins...

And the final result after driving up in the rain...

And i didn't win the show and shine hahaha

A guy with an M3 CSL won, because they are so old, and so hard to keep looking up to scratch maybe? lol Oh well next year round!

RE: E30 Analised cleaning...

lol maybe im just used to owning old fords in the past where everythink kit or spoiler wise just snaps off when ya try an undo emIcon_cheesygrin Icon_lol tends to give ya a if it aint broke dont fix it approach-with the rear spoiler i`d av definately been a bit wary with the water hanging there about snapping rusty old bolts/threads coming with the nut etc due to stud in spoiler spinning etc (if that way round-been there done that.)

Love ya car though mate-still great looking motors-i always wanted a grey one though if im honest-fetch good money again now aswell.

RE: E30 Analised cleaning...

haha yeh i was a bit wary, but i thought seen as though i'd stripped bits away under the bonnet to get to hard to reach area's, didn't think a spoiler would be too bad, it was about 10 nuts i think.

Thanks, yeh they are nice cars, i've always loved them, but never say myself getting one, but searched hard and came across the one so had to have it, i wanted my last car to be red but couldn't find one so this one had to be red : )

I wanted a colour that required effort, i don't get much satisfaction out of cleaning silver/greys as you don't really see much of an improvement!

RE: E30 Analised cleaning...

Was this at Gaydon?

The past couple of years E30's have won the show and shine afaik.

The CSL didn't have the number plate 'C76 JON' by any chance did it?
