And what do ya mean by it was a bit of a free for all?
Too many Stig-wannabes and people on the track who were clueless or just wanted to twat about.

Yes boothy No Problem
Saz - more than welcome
Jess - if you are 100% serious about going on the track then its worth thinking about stuff
The strip is 1 1/4 straight, no one overtaking you, no one sneaking up the inside no one overcooking it in front of you ect
The track although your KA handles well you will be round with 30+ other cars for 15 mins or so it aint easier than the strip
So before i have to book it, get some advice, remember your NOT insured on the track unless you take it out and bump into a passing skyline and you will have a big big bill!
People like matty, tom, teddy ect have been on the track so listen to there experiance
I havent been on yet so im sure gonna be talking to matty and getting some advice before i go on.
Also remember the effects on your car, track surface is hard and rips up tyres, bodywork catching wheels on the track is a problem, brakes need to be up to scratch and your car needs to be able to take 15 mins solid abuse.
Let me know though

it was my first time on the track last year, and it felt like i needed to see 360 degrees, with all the skylines and supra's passing, its nerve racking at first, but very enjoyable, just don't go flat out on the first couple of laps, get a feel of it, like ollie said, the car handles different on a race track the your your normal road!!

Yeah I will do, when do I have to let you know by thou and how much is it??
As for tyres and brakes, all of them have just been replaced and are brand spanking. Abuse wise it should be fine, overheating can sometimes be a bit of a problem but I have a water gauge that I assume was fitted because of the Turbo, however I'm hoping to have a different bonnet by that time with vents in to help cool it down abit, if not it had it's fair share of abuse when it was turbo'd and now it isn't so hopefully it'll be fine.
Any advice tho purleez????

No problem, not trying to put you off im pleased people are wanting to get involved just trying to help you make an educated decision
But as said pointless asking me as im as much of a novice as you are (Only difference is Shit all is coming past me / and/or i will be in the gravel by turn 4 lap 1 )
Im sure tom, Teddy, Matty, Boothy will all give you pointers and ideas so maybe a pm is in order
Its things like your mirrors that are crucial! you need to see around you im guessing 100% of the time
Insurance is available not sure on cost ect maybe alanman MIGHT know a rough idea, being an insurance dude.
I might well start a track session thread so those who have had the experiance can help us all out! like do's and donts!
And maybe Lee can do one for the 1/4 mile and those on here who have ran can add experiances ect

That's a good idea ^^^
I'll be sorting either some better glass or a complete new set of mirrors out on next pay day I think anyways 'cos that's all that's left to fix on her for now I think *touch wood* I may also have a bit of a surprise for Donny and maybe even for the pod if i'm lucky but we'll have to wait and see
Thanks for all ya help though!!
