its a gen 4.... 1988/89 F plate...... ?
gen 5 started 1990 G/H Plate.....!

It was advertised as the 1990 model but is infact the 1989 and is the last model of this kind made for the year anyways, not the last one off the production line.
Its not what I would normally buy but when I saw it I changed my mind. I like my older cars and this has got alot of potential and will make a really nice track car.
Its nice to drive, goes well, loves the motorways, fuel consumptions not too bad for what it is.
I have started working on the paintwork as you know Red is a nightmare and fades to a pinky colour. I have got some of the red back up and will carry on with it when I next get the chance. I think I'm gonna hit it with the G3 then give it a good goin over with the Smart range.
Once shes all cleaned up I am going to start on the chassis.
Anti Roll Bars, Suspension, Wheels, Brakes etc...

top one has a full TRD kit on it and has been lowered
bottom is clean and tidy with some up to date rims on
It dont have to have a massive kit on to be modded!
