Well, it was a wet day. I didn't handle my camera very well either, some I am happy with, some are naff. But hey ho, that's life. I had a good day and we got a decent turnout. Hope you like them!

one thing that I will mention though:

I don't mind you posting CN related things on here BUT if I was to post something on CN about Maxxd, it would get deleted or I would get shot down in flames.

This thread will NOT be moved, binned ar hijacked. Just thought I would mention it as i would like to post certain things on CN sometimes, saying that I don't have nor am able to get an account, can you sort this out and possibly reinstate the peace?

Thankyou for your comments guys. Just to address a few points........

I try mate, but I'm not into the "technical jibber jabber" of DSLR, aperture settings and all that malarky. I use some advanced features of what is these days an average camera and that's about it. Most of my work that I love to do is based around decent angles and wicked backdrops. I will upgrade my camera and hopefully the level of photography that I undertake one day, but it's just not in my financial means at the moment with Uni etc etc. Cheers tho mate!

They are excellent ways of bringing together the outer resources of a site, we have a lot of fun usually when we get together as I'm sure you guys do. WELL worth your time.

I would consider it definitely, but it might be a better idea to try and keep it "in house" if you get me. Everywhere I go there seems to be one or two "favoured" photographers or photography enthusiasts. Could be a nice touch to have full blown members sorting, running and operating your shoots for you. However if you get stuck and someone fancies covering my fuel (Daventry - Mansfield - Daventry) then I'd definitely give it some thought.

You carry with you a fair point. I am aware of the previous "internet festivities" that have gone on, even was involved in a couple.

I will have a word with the boss. I can't see any reasons myself but then again I only moderate a small amount of the site. My ties to the site are through my photography which ordinarily is pretty sharp. As I said, I will have a word and see what the crack is.

Ryan, when dave and myself first got into modified cars we were made to feel very un-welcomed by the CN admin at the time, and decided to set our own club up to rival them

martin (ok, and me) never let it drop and have always seemed to have beef..

We tried to sort it by having a footy match, where we abliterated CN

But martin being martin decided he still didnt wanna play fair..

I have no beef with CN any more, or martin for that matter - lifes too short..

But i recon a lot of the oldies on there may still have issues with us

If you could pass the word on, and maybe we could sort a CN/Maxxd photoshoot to try and bring the two local clubs, a bit closer together?
